Blessed We Be

Blessed we be
Blessed we’re not
Hold on or you may
Lose that thought.

Brilliant yes
Certainly bold
Smile a lot never frown
The world is here
And it is round.

See the gleam on
A sharp edged sword
Slicing hatred
And spreading love
We’ve been told.

With the Lord
Blessed we be
And certainly not
All alone in
This our sacred lot.
