I Thank Those Of You

 

 

 

I thank those of you
Who treated me
In my ‘Blond’ time
With respect and dignity.

And for those
Who laughed
And ridiculed
I thank you too.

For you have let me see
There are beautiful people
In this world
And ones filled
With misery.

You have a place
Here in this world
But it is nowhere
Near or part of me.
