Rocking Horse Ride

Rocking horse ride
Thundering across the plain
Nostrils flared
Mane aflame.

Rocking horse ride
Without a care
Through the meadow
On the path of some incidental.

Rocking horse ride
With power and strength
No thought
For heartache or complaints.

Rocking horse ride
Throughout time
Please don’t leave
Me far behind.

Rocking horse ride
And understand no bar’s too low
Or hill too high
For a rocking horse to ride and ride.
