My Heart Is Sore

March 19, 2016

My friend, Pat Carpenter

My heart is sore
My soul is too
I’ve lost a friend, a loved one
It was you.

So kind, so sweet
So strong, so dear
A gentle heart
I miss you being near.

No more to say
No more to hear
That laugh
That heartfelt cheer.

You had love for yours
Love of life
Blessed to know
Now gone to live with Christ.

We’ll miss you
My friend
Even thou we know you’ll walk near
We’ll see your smile, we’ll feel your cheer.

Rest in peace
My friend Pat
You are so dear.

      • Sometimes, there are just no words, only affection and support. I have lost a loved one recently, and find myself more at a loss as to what to say, it’s then I offer what I still have, a hug.

  4. This is so beautiful! I miss her so much! I am so grateful to have a piece of her in my little Ziva, and I know Pat will be helping us train from up above! Just yesterday when I took Ziva to her 1st visit to the beach I could feel Pat’s smile and hear her say, “that’s so cool!”

    • That IS so cool!
      You’re right, Pat was there.
Walk with her, feel her guide, see her in Ziva’s eyes.
Rest in Peace our friend Pat. ❤ ❤
