Looking up to the sky
Looking for the answer
The reason why
The solid earth beneath my feet
Radiates love
Leaving no room
For defeat.
My mouth says words
Needed to be said
My hands hold
Thankfulness for all I see
And for the ground
On which I tread
Here, alongside thee.
