Leaving, Going Away

I saw you leaving, going away
Your back was turned
You didn’t say
A word of gratitude
Goodbye or even ‘Hey’
You just left
I saw you leave, go away.

My heart was broken
My life in disarray
I had nothing left that day
I saw you you leave
You were gone
You went away.
