Strive for happiness
Creating love
Narrow the corridor
That harbours anger
Let it sink deep into murky mud.

Never saw it coming
Never heard the cry
Maybe in the beginning
I didn’t understand
The reason why.

Now that is over and it seems
The clouds have begun to dry
I’ll take my happiness
And make love
The reason why.
