Hear The World
August 6, 2019
Walmart employees comfort one another after a shooting at the store in El Paso, Texas, on Saturday. (Mark Lambie/The El Paso Times via AP)
Hear the world come to it’s end
Listen to mourning flowers
Sway to and fro
And then
Hear the mighty mountains
Roar their anger
Frustration
To all that’ll listen.
Hear the world plead
Cry
For those lost
In the mayhem.

Thank you. 😔
I wrote it Saturday morning and couldn’t understand at the time, why it felt that I had to leave the 2nd line in.
Who wants to talk about the world ending?
This morning when I went to post. . . understood.
Such tragedies 😞
