Ideas Come

Ideas come 
sometimes they flow 
then
then sometimes
they stop. 

The page is blank 
not a thought, not anything
just a slate, a page
that’s clear. 

Then
then all of a sudden 
they flow 
in a rushing, gushing river 
that overflows. 

What a time, a place to be 
for it’s then I know 
I have ideas that will grow
and grow and grow.
