Maybe tomorrow
Maybe
Another day
Maybe it’ll feel like forever
In the way you feel
Today.
But
Your end will come
In a moment
Or
It may have come
Yesterday.
Your purpose, your mission
Is
To live each moment
Each day
With joy and happiness.
So
When you close your eyes
For forever
You’ll smile
And
You’ll say
“That was fun
That was, a good day!”

Fruits of my labour
Seem to be
Consequences
I didn’t
Foresee
Maybe tomorrow
I’ll be
In the midst
Of another day
Straight from
History.

Some days are not OK days.
Some days
Carry the burden
Of yesterday.
Some days
Your heart weeps
Your lips pale.
Some days
It’s best to think of
Another day.
Some days

The hall is narrow
The ceiling falling down
My way to the living room
Can’t be found.
A method of cooking fills
Mouldy kitchen air
Where cabinets hang
Feeling no loving care.
Nothing to clean away
Night terrors experienced
In a cluttered bedroom
Where sleep is not
Usually assumed.
Another way, another day
Maybe tomorrow will be perfect
Making this just a dream
I dreamed yesterday.

How do I know
When to go
When to stay?
No one can
Tell me
At least not today.
Maybe tomorrow
When
Its another day.
Then I’ll know
When to go
When to stay.
~ Patrice

Still Wondering
On this another day
As I haven’t found a way
To conquer all my fears
Or still the voices of distain
And sacrifice all the blame.
Still wondering
What this day has been
And wondering what tomorrow
Will unfold to bring, wondering
Still wondering.
