Long ago, far away
A heart was broke
He did not stay
To weep or cry
Nor brush sad tears away.
Crushed
A fool she thought
Then sat
Laughed
Brushed her own tears
Away.
No fool was she
No clown performing
For vacant love
He, he was the one
A fool for leaving
Not loving her.
He turned
He walked away
Never knowing what
He could have had
He walked away.

One more day

I’ll smile and laugh
Life will just be a gas

To make me smile
