Blanket soft and white
Caressing slumber
In a quiet night.

Wind Blowing

Wind blowing
Hollering
Thru the trees
Breaking
Smashing
Everything it sees.

Cruel
Sparing none
Blowing all night
Til
The morning sun.

Devastation
Greets the day
All hard work
All blown away.

Nothing left
But clean up
Arrange
And hold back
Despair.

Know
The sun will shine
Once again
Life will go on
Even if the wind
She does blow
Strong.

The sun shines bright

The atmosphere breathes a restful breath
Eyes closed in winter rest.

Let me take it in
Feel warmth following the light
To a time when the sun shines
