You battled, you died.

Ones I loved
Who fought, who died.

Fallen soldier
The brave who have died.

Smiling faces greeting burdened souls
Open hearts embracing those that need
Gently raising gentle souls.

Life’s not easy but what I’ve got
Even if I sacrifice, pay my dues
Know it doesn’t mean
I get to cruise.
If the hard work never stops
Does it mean I’ll not
Feel fun and laughter, give it up
Be satisfied with my lot?
