Haven’t found the answer
Haven’t seen the light
Many questions will bring answers
With an illuminating light.

Then when my questions
Are answered
And I can breathe ever so light.

I will look
For more questions to be answered
In that brilliant, all knowing light.

Far up in the sky
Where no one else
Can pull me down.

Nor turn my world
From up
To crashing down.

See my heart soar
See it fly
In a bright blue
Cerulean sky.

The World Is Moving Forward

The world is moving forward
The old one has come to an end
The sadness in between is harsh
Sometimes you think
It’ll never end.

Then the dark clouds drift apart
A sun radiating brilliant light
Shines down
On the troubled traveller
Giving a guiding light.

Crises Come

Crises come
Monopolizing the mind
The spirit
Everything in the universe
Anything
Not tied down tight.

What has happened?
Why?
No answers come
Questions only
They hang in the frigid, cold
Unforgiving sky.

Do your best
Do what’s correct
What’s right
Maybe then the world will smile
Grass turn a brilliant green
And stars shine a guiding light
On everything.

Blessed We Be

Blessed we be
Blessed we’re not
Hold on or you may
Lose that thought.

Brilliant yes
Certainly bold
Smile a lot never frown
The world is here
And it is round.

See the gleam on
A sharp edged sword
Slicing hatred
And spreading love
We’ve been told.

With the Lord
Blessed we be
And certainly not
All alone in
This our sacred lot.
