The sun shines bright
glistening on fallen snow
in
the early morning light.
Troubles seem trivial
anger has not much might
for pure white snow covers all
in
the early morning light.

Snow blows
It leaves for dead
Spring blossoms, warm summer
Where footprints lightly tread.
Deep in blowing snow
Hold fast to warmth
Radiating from the fireplace glow
Now is not the time
To let bird feeders run low.
Snow white
Blowing snow covers all
In cold and harsh
But still we know
Its winter white where
Snow blows blowing snow.

Snow falls
Covers all
Falling
Falling
Drifting to the ground.
Piled high
Almost to the sky
Snow blows
Blows
Blows all around.
Critters dive
Into banks of white
Some to hide
Others to
Eat
Eat a hidden feast.
On a ground covered
There is no sound
As snow falls
Covering
Covering frozen ground.
