Holding up the light
searching all thru the night
seeking happiness
in the darkest places
trying desperately to turn on
even a glimmer of light.
Maybe tomorrow
when the sun shines it’s light
I’ll fine the joy and happiness
I’ve been searching
seeking
all thru this dark, dark night.
