What Is?

What is the cause? What is the effect?
What does it mean?

For hearts are broken, cities crumble
Crops decay
Lives destroyed.

And
In the midst of this

A sprout pops up, a giggle resonates
Thunder dissipates
Rain clears all filth away.

There is a God
There is a life
We will not disappear.

The world moves on there is decay

But beneath the depths
A spirit cries loud and clear
