I don’t want to be you
I want
Want to be me
Allowing nothing to stand in the way
Whether the path be straight or crooked
It doesn’t matter
It’s the way I’ll travel on my journey
To be just me

Hearing Nothing

Hearing nothing, feeling all
How can I be in love
With nothing, nothing at all?

 With words I wander in my mind
Imaging scenarios, images of all kinds
Maybe won’t come to pass
Maybe will last and last.

Doesn’t matter
For I see, I feel
While hearing nothing
Nothing not at all.

Could not be.

Hoping life
Would be a little gentler
Take pity on me.

Trusting it
Will get better
So all can be happy.
