Seeking sacred
seeking to find the peace in nature 
that peace
I’ve been declined. 

It’s beauty is beautiful 
it’s nature divine 
seeking that that’s sacred 
enveloping, 
making it part of me and mine.

Our hearts beat
Together

Snow Comes Flying Down

Snow comes flying down
laying waste to brown ground
swirls, banks of white
blowing on into night.

Hiding the sun, the moon
making all the landscape
a stark sight
enveloping the earth
like a giant cocoon .

It may be tomorrow
all will melt
til then enjoy the scene
and later
remember how it felt.

Herald The Coming Storm

Herald the coming storm
Dark of night enveloping
With mighty might
Crossing over land
Thundering
Making creatures cringe
While most don’t understand.

Here I am
Waiting, watching, listening
Holding on
As the coming storm
Keeps coming on.
