My Heart Seems Broken

My heart seems broken
the world appears unfair
direction is lost
my world, my heart
are in
such deep despair.

It may be
tomorrow
the sun will shine
bringing healing, loving light
everywhere

But for now
in
this moment
all I feel is sadness, heartache
and
despair.

We are here and everywhere
We shall care and shouldn’t dare
All that lives within our atmosphere.

They live here as we do
And help us through all
This heavy burdened stratosphere.

We should care and treasure us
That we must for what else
Is there here or anywhere?
