My heart is sore
My soul is too
I’ve lost a friend, a loved one
It was you.

A gentle heart
I miss you being near.

That laugh
That heartfelt cheer.

You had love for yours
Love of life
Blessed to know
Now gone to live with Christ.

Going pass your throat
Moving quietly down
To a waiting heart.

Smouldering love

A broken heart.

Feel the comfort, love
Seeping into your heart
Feel it traveling
