No more
Can no one say.
No more to hear
To see.
No more will be suffice
To carry us through this day
This night.
No more to feel
What wasn’t felt
Yesterday.
No more
Will there be
A difference between us.
No more you, no more me
No more.

Feel the clouds
come rolling in
Hear the thunder clap
Experience rain
pouring down
Cleansing all
So once again
the world looks fresh
Growing
Reaching for the stars
because of rain
Life-giving rain.

Hear my heart call
Hear that quiet voice
Murmur words of love
Filling all with grace.
Hear my heart call
Words to ease the pain
Sounds made from
A sweet refrain.
Hear my heart call
I’m not alone
Forever with me
In all my journeys.
Hear my heart call
Listen, listen to that sound
Hear my heart
Hear my heart call.

I feel
The flesh of my skin
Warming
To the now coming
Spring
I see
My legs run
Across a path
Laden with flowers
Beauties of
Spring
I hear
A call echoing thru
my chest
Of geese making their flight
To reaches north
In the now here
Spring
No more
To wonder
No more to wish
My body knows winter is lost
Chased away
By beautiful, glorious
Spring.

Look out and see
Beauty
Breathtaking beauty
That
Seems not much
You may say
But
See, feel and hear
All the beauty
The breathtaking beauty
Unfolding
In front of you
Each and everyday.

What will be the answer
what will happen here
will we rejoice with happiness
or
will all wonder disappear?
So many gone
so
many not here
I wonder what the answer is
and
will I be able to accept
what I hear?

I find my heart cold
In charge of no life
Making no sound
Finding no life.
Lonely of course
Hardened and cruel
Seeking no justice
A master I’m sure
That is such a fool.
Sudden I hear
A kindness roar
Blood pulsing inside
Like opening a door.
For my heart is alive
Beating with life
Coursing with love
Creating a good life.

When I hear those words
That melt my heart, make my tears cry
Filling up the world’s cup of gratitude
When I hear
Hear those wondrous words
I know I’m alive.

Walmart employees comfort one another after a shooting at the store in El Paso, Texas, on Saturday. (Mark Lambie/The El Paso Times via AP)
Hear the world come to it’s end
Listen to mourning flowers
Sway to and fro
And then
Hear the mighty mountains
Roar their anger
Frustration
To all that’ll listen.
Hear the world plead
Cry
For those lost
In the mayhem.
