I haven’t been
As close as I should have been
It seems life has dealt me
a heavy load
A load I think I need to carry. 

Please, if you could
Let me see where 
I can lay down
All that isn’t necessary. 

Giving me
The time, the space
To be the one
You need, I need to be
For an blessed eternity.
