My heart is empty 
A soul full of
nothing 
I walk thru the world 
a zombie 
feeling, hearing, seeing 
nothing. 

Will I wake 
I will arrive at a place
full of love 
joy and happiness 
a place where 
I can cry

Optimistic For Heaven’s Sake

 

 

Optimistic for heaven’s sake
Moving forward
No hand on the brake
Thinking thoughts of gratitude
Holding on to all
No hurting feet or pounding head
Just clear breath
Breathing in and out
Thankful that I’m alive
I’m not dead.
