I have heard and think
it is to be
a world full of greatness, love
and most of all
beauty.
Let me see this world
let me experience it’s beauty
let me live in peace
and most of all
loving harmony.

Let me hold you tight
Protect you through
The darkest night
Let no harm come to you
As I watch for wrong to come sneaking in
On that darkest night
I will put myself in front of you
Protect and sacrifice my life
So that you may live thru this darkest
Darkest night.

Hold me close, hold me tight
Let me feel secure
Throughout the darkest night.
Let my tears disappear
Feel safe in a land
Vacant of fury, anger
And awful, awful fear.
Hold me close, hold me tight

Let me hold, let me love those
surrounding my heart
Let me see beauty
in the world static or moving freely
Let me embrace tenderly and with care
all those I see filled with grief or despair
Let me know when to be still
and when to move like a lighting bolt
Let me, let me be in all
this I hold, feel, see and care.

Let me hold all that is holy
Feeling the radiance
Flow thru my body
Into the universe
As all is sacred and well.
Let me be part
Of that universe
Feeling those worlds above
While in harmony with
That which is around
And beneath me.
Let me feel these things
And let me just
Be me.

Let me feel the gratitude
See heaven in all before
Beyond me.
Let me know the life I live
Is not in vain but giving all
To those that need me.
Let me leave this world
Embroiled in nothing more
Than pure love and ecstasy.

Let me lie at your feet
My life in disarray
Let me see you seek
The good in everyday
Let me feel your heart beat
Goodness with every beat
And finally
Let me be part of all
You do and say
All my life
In every way.
~ Patrice
