When I look in the mirror
I see an old lady
Starring at me.

I agonize over
Whether she
Really likes me.

Does she think
Me silly
I can’t see.

But so want to tell her
I’m happy
She got to be an old lady
Just like me!

Sit in a place filled
With loving gratitude
And grace

Only I

Feel the presence
Of a spirit so strong
Knowing and forgiving

Only I

Is who I see
When I look in the mirror
And see

Only me.
