Unholy happenings
unhappiness
has begun
bogged down in misery
what oh what has
this become?
Let no one stay
in
the vicinity
let no man or woman
be
overcome.
Let joy and happiness
be the ones
we see, feel, experience
and
become.

We have seen the unholy light
Glaring red on the darkest night
No reprieve, no delight
Misery, forgotten mercy
No saviour
Til the morning light.
Then there, the beauty unfolds
It’s saving grace holds
Helping those
Lost, misplaced
Keeping safe, shielding life
Protecting all that see
Her holy light
We have seen the unholy light
We have gone beyond it’s fierce grip
To bask in love all the loving day
Protected
Throughout the darkest night
Til rising, morning light.

When the rains fell down
The sky was blue
Feeling all the misery
That’s come to you.
Tears of sadness
Heartache blue
Rains fell, not only crying
But to comfort you.

No one speaks
No one says
The words that will condemn
The dead
To a life lived in after death
Of misery. anger
No justice.
Instead hands hold out
Gentle love
Make the world a happy place
Make the universe
A living, breathing
Wondrous space.
Where hearts are held
Close with care
No one dies
They live forever
In our hearts
In a heaven
Made right here.

Melancholy feelings
Sorry heart
Trudging through the snow
Feeling
It’s cold, cold heart.
Icicles dangling, dripping
To sadden, frozen ground
No where to go
Misery
Sadness all around.
Then the sun shines
Spreading, singing like a lark
Warming all the world
Unfreezing
That frigid, frozen heart.

Imagine
Today is your last day.
What would you say?
Where would you go?
What would you see?
Would it be beauty
Or misery?
I don’t know
Can’t see
But hope I’d make it
The best day to last me
An eternity.

Hearing all the noises
Bashing in my head
No time to see the goodness
Only misery, loneliness and dread.
Honestly don’t know
What became of my lighthearted soul
Mired down in stress
Burdened with things as dark as coal.
No one will help me out
No one really cares
All I hear is bashing, crashing in my head
Filled with misery, loneliness and dread.

Looking out my window
Seeing life displayed
Playing out sometimes
In misery
Sometimes in loving grace
I can see no happy feeling
Accompanies
A penitent, sad face
But all is as it should be
All live life
trying not to scar
Or leave a marring footprint
A telling trace.
~ Patrice

I thank those of you
Who treated me
In my ‘Blond’ time
With respect and dignity.
And for those
Who laughed
And ridiculed
I thank you too.
For you have let me see
There are beautiful people
In this world
And ones filled
With misery.
You have a place
Here in this world
But it is nowhere
Near or part of me.
