I feel your presence Your breath softly Falling in and out
I hear your call Your mournful voice Reaching out
I remember Your presence here Now gone
I miss you I miss you so My love
You’re all All I think about. ~ Patrice

My heart churns, it doesn’t beat Thinking of the last time The last time We would meet.
I didn’t understand Why You were sad Saying words that changed Everything.
My love, my heart All things Near and far in this land.
My heart churns, it doesn’t beat I hear it cry As all alone I stand. ~ Patrice

Would you be mine
til the end of time?
Would you hold me close
taking no notice of how long a time?
Would you love me more than
Julius to Cleopatra or just as much
if not more?
Would the sweet scent of love
fill your nostrils evermore?
Leaving nothing else
to take your breath away?
Cause my love
I will love you forever
Ever, in this way.

Patrice Clarkson's Blog
Never known where I belong
Seems to me my whole family
Is just wrong.
Why? Why?
Neither does my love’s
Seem willing to embrace
Me strong.
Why? Why?
I don’t know where I belong
Wherever I go
The same seems to apply.
Why? Why?
Am I from another earth?
Do I belong in a time
Gone by?
Can’t say
Don’t know what’s wrong.
Or should I just understand
The world belongs to those
That accept different as they are
Part of the woven web
Is what we are.
We belong, we belong
I now know where it is I belong.~ Patrice

I break my heart, injure my soul
Sacrifice my love
Feeling remorse forever more.
Nothing
Will bind the pieces together
Must take it out of mind.
Feel
The injuries, the heartache, the crying
Then leave them all far behind.

Poetry
Taken from the pages
Of anarchy
Full in the hearts of subtlety
Showing no malice is
Poetry.
Poetry
Why have you come
To be my destiny?
Nothing matters but
The throes of the heart in
Poetry.
Poetry
Anger, passion, full
Of the vacant sound coming
From that original sin
Even then
Blessed is the heart
That changes history with
Poetry.
Poetry
No one can know what
Could have been
My heart, my love and
All life has been and now
Come be within
Poetry.~ Patrice

Today someone died a long time ago
He changed my life
The course of things that could have been
And my time with him
May not have been so smooth
But I remember him
Yes, I remember him from so long ago.
Adieu, may peace and God be with you
My love, my friend adieu.
