I didn’t make it
Cut from the lot
Standing alone
Not knowing what’s up
What’s not.

I know it’ll be over
I’ll pass on
But for now
I’m lonely, fractured
Having trouble to cope
To move on.

The sky is a wanderer in the sky
Not knowing how, when or why
Like a traveller moving on
Stopping now then going beyond
The edge of tomorrow
While seeking solace in a world
Looking up
Travelling, holding on.

Always asking why
Not knowing
Why I ask
Or just what
The reason is.

Looking round
I see
So much to be
Thankful for
For me.

Can’t understand
Why
Why I’m always
Wondering
Asking why.

Not Knowing

 

Not knowing what will occur
Or sure what’s been done
Then
Slowly I realize I belong
To the world’s outcome.

I see the happy and good in all this
Despair
Giving joy for now I know
Going back or staying
I just can’t be there.

Feeling excitement
Seeing the future unfold
With sharing, giving love
Something right now
I know
I don’t know or hold.
