One Day

 

One day will all go away
not sure why, not sure how
but gone, gone away
in the future, like the past
someday
this day will become
that day.

The sky is filled with optimism
No bird tweets lies
Nor does a bear weep
Wail or cry.

All is filled with beauty
And love
Not one seeks
To be denied.

We live, we love
And one day
We will surely die.
