My soul weeps.

Are full of sadness, anger
Misery so deep.

In terrible times
Suffer and subjugate
Seems to be the way of life
In this certainly
Not a nursery rhyme.

Will I persevere
Will I see the light?

Not seen tonight.

The cloud I ride upon
Spiriting me away.

I Drink My Coffee

I drink my coffee
I sip my tea
I struggle in the morning
Just to be me.

Then in the afternoon
It all becomes clear
Salvation from questions
I have no answers to
No answers for
Those I hold dear.

As night settles in
And my heart quietly rests
I see I’ve been tested
And survived with the rest.

Why am I here?

Questions are all I hear
Why?

Delve deep inside
Your soul modest, gentle
And even maybe
A little slow.

There in peace
You survive
Enveloped in strength
And a moral code
You can’t deny.

Stand strong
Breach the crest
Ride the tide
No one need question why
You alone are the one
To bring you
To the centred one.

Questions?
Many and a few
But for you
All you need to know
The answers live deep inside
Your magnificent soul.
