You have been
I’ve seen
Wonders beyond belief
Life does give us
Such wondrous things
All we have to do
Is look, see and love
These lovely things.

A hummingbird came to my window
today
not seen since
in the fall
when they all
flew away.
Sweet nectar she’s looking for
needs right away
hovering, looking in
she tells me.
Get it ready!
Get it ready!
Get it ready right away!
The little hummingbird
is
hungry
she’s flown such a distance
from far
far away.
Now needs
some sweet substance
til
all the blooms
are
on display.
A hummingbird came to my window
and
told me all this
just this morning
just today.

I have known, you’ve seen
Beauties of the universe
Soft, gentle
And pristine.
May they flow
Thru tomorrow
Out to all
Directions in-between.
May their
Gentleness and kindness
be all we feel
All we need.

Waves of thunder cross the sky
Rain falls obliterating any peaceful scene
My heart wails in anguish
Horrified by what
I’ve seen.
May tomorrow ride the wave
Of sunlight streaming
Streaming across a quiet
Peaceful scene.
And I will rest in peace
Knowing life goes on
No matter what I feel
I’ve seen.

All is seen, all is glad
Be ye thankful
For all you’ve had
Can’t take it away
Nor make it bad.
Just believe in yourself
And just be glad
You’ve been given
A gift that many
Have never had.

Chances are chances
Be the reason
We flee chances seen
Chances are chances.
Chances are chances
Don’t just exist
But take your chances
Believe
Make them chances
To living
Not only to exist
Chances are chances.
