Living in the
Quiet
Listening to the solitude
Feeling all emotions
Surface.

Maybe tomorrow will be
Riotous
But for now living today
Where all is
Quiet.

Let The Quiet Come In

October 29, 2018

Filtered Sun ~ Photo by Patrice

Let the quiet come in
Let it spread throughout
Your body, your very soul.

Let hurry not come in
Keep it at bay, say no words
That make it run away
With your solitude.

Deep breath in, slowly let it out
Embrace quiet
Feel it spread throughout.

Agonizing, Difficult Regret

October 8, 2015

Agonizing, difficult regret

Struggling to understand

Just what I did to regret

For no soft heart opens up

Or holds me close

Only solitude, loneliness

Are at my command.

Life of near and far away

Feels trodden upon

No joy to lift me up

No smile that helps me stand

Only agonizing, difficult regret

Struggling to understand.

Frustration, Solitude, Anger And Pain

October 12, 2011

Frustration, solitude
Anger and pain
Making things happen
In spite of all gains.

Why does it happen?
How can I change?
Bring me reality
Happiness and fame
Leave behind anger
Frustration and pain.

This I need
Make it happen
Please, please
Make it happen
Once again.

Her Stomach Churns

September 22, 2011

Her stomach churns with the hunger for learning.
The anticipation of knowing.
The quiet solitude of understanding and the excitement to begin.
