The Light Is Slowly Lifting Up

The light is slowly lifting up
The obscurity that hides my soul
Touching, warming a heart
Immeshed in woeful sorrow.

Drying tears sadly falling
Cascading to the ground
While trembling lips remember
Days when sadness was
The sound.

But light does lift up
To a higher atmosphere
Creating beauty, happiness
In this that is our individual
Magic sphere.

Glory all around.

You’re in the midst
Of wonder
And
A spectacular story
Look around.

Today I Listened

Today I listened
To the sound
Of Heaven and Earth
Trying to expound
All the things I left behind
In the middle, centre mind.

Not so nice
Not so dear
But surely held in the fear
Someone else find me out
Or those of us
Would hear about.

Yes, I know I shouldn’t call
Then today I heard the sound
Of Heaven and Earth
trying to expound
Hell on Earth
And bring it down.
