Never Heard Them Say

Never heard them say
Words seeking disaster
No, not today.

But may I testify
That words were said
In anger
Words that need not
Be said
Not one more day.

Keep them contained
In humour
Make those that need
Laugh today.

Never more
Courting disaster
Never hating ever again
If only for just today.

Not Sure

Not sure where the trail leads too
I stop upon the path
As my feet have lead me to
A place of wonder, beyond belief
A place where all can be named
Succeed.

Not sure what I have to say
Know the words will come
When its their day
Flowing out upon the land
Resting with those that need
Need their words, need a hand.

Not sure if I’ll see
The things I must to be me
But then again what if I am
Already there
And they’re already in
My soul’s command.
