Don’t live your life
in a way
you know how you’ll die.
Live a life worth living
til that time, that time
you really do die.
Let joy, happiness prevail
all trials, heartache pale with moments
when
your heart bursts in joyous cries
your eyes run tears of gratitude
your ears hear angels trumpet
stories.
Stories of your magnificent life.
the life, that life
you’re going to live.
Till you die.

My heart aches
my soul cries
for a time
of clear innocence
a time that time
has taken
to the past
No more to feel
to bask
in rays of light
hearted laughs
Sadness overwhelms
hurt
seems to last
til no more tears left
to sob
crying for the now
distance past.

No one knows nor do they care
mainly
mainly just because
they weren’t there.
Cause it all to be forgotten
Left behind
pages wrote, time sodden
with the tears of those
left behind and forgotten.

There was a time when we were old
We’d laugh and cry as life did unfold
No remorse for things gone by
Only clamour for a sweet
Haunting lullaby.
Ancient wrinkles on a child’s face
Laughing, crying filled with grace
No honour lost, no rushing pace
No deadline met, only loving grace
Masking love on a loving face.
In a time gone by we may have met
Laughed and cried, no heartache wept
What a wondrous thing
When we were young and therefore old
In a time when we spun together
Treasures made of gold.

Moving pass
Walking thru
This day
I’ve been given.
A chance to live
A chance to rise
To the heights
I need to be livin’.
A day, a time
Has been given
To me, to me
And I’m livin’.

Merry may the day be
Intertwined with dignity
Cherish every moment
Passing by joyously
With the ticking tock
Of a wall clock
Sorry, sad doesn’t fit inside
This time I merrily pass
Here in the moments
I will relish in a ever
Ever lasting merry day.

Similar to all, unique in itself
Glory and strife part of the time
Needed to rhyme.
Glorious, glorious rhyme
Similar but not the usual
No, unique this glorious rhyme
Travelling
Travelling gently thru time.
