Let no man see the turmoil
Boiling inside of me 
Let it be something to handle 
Not take control
Of all of me 

Joy and gratitude
Are the ones I want to see 
For they will take me 
On a journey full of happiness  
Just for me.

Healthy and whole
I face the day
Grateful for everything
That has come my way.

 No turmoil, no destitute
Just the rising sun’s
Rays
Warming all the land.

And grasses waving
Hello
In the meadow
Where they stand.

What Year Is This?

What year is this?
Is it the year
Of my freedom, my triumph?
Or just another disaster
I must and will master.

Creeping, crawling through
The sadness, the madness
Striving for some gladness
To dwell here in my heart
When will it start?

When will all this muddy
Turmoil leave, depart?
Nothing wrong
Just following along
With the throng.

Yes, nothings wrong
It’s just that
Nothings right
In this year
This year of sadness
I’m living tonight.

Turmoil, Hectic, Rush About

Turmoil, hectic, rush about.
Make it plenty, plenty of whatever its about.
There is no doubt
This is a special time for us
We must hurry, rush about.

Smell the flavor
Aroma whiffing ’bout
Check ingredients, just the exact amount
To make it pleasurable
On this hurried, hectic rush about.

Soon be over, catch our breath
Stop all this rush about.
Deep sigh taken
Then go into overdrive
In this hectic turmoil, rush about.
