Maybe tomorrow Maybe Another day Maybe it’ll feel like forever In the way you feel Today.
But
Your end will come In a moment Or It may have come Yesterday.
Your purpose, your mission Is To live each moment Each day With joy and happiness.
So When you close your eyes For forever You’ll smile And You’ll say
“That was fun That was, a good day! ” ~ Patrice

I’m not sure what I’ll write
Something about yesterday
Maybe something
That will occur tonight.
No rules in place
No sayings to follow
Just hear that soft voice speak
And my writing, my words
They follow.~ Patrice

Honoured to be part of A world caring Generous and loving Even if tomorrow storms gather Obscuring laughter
It doesn’t matter For those clouds will part Be blown away All will be lovely once again As it was just yesterday. ~ Patrice

You heard me call I didn’t say words needed Not yesterday.
All was lonely, all was not right You heard me call but turned away.
Words stung, they torn away A facade built up way before today.
You heard me call and laughed away The sights envisioned for tomorrow Created just today.
I have stopped, I call no more For words must be by someone else It’s not my work, not anymore. ~ Patrice

When I think
Of all the things
That have disappeared
Gone away
Happened yesterday
My heart joins forces
With my soul
To help me understand
Why it all had to go away
Yesterday.~ Patrice

Quietly I lay waiting for the sky to take away all the hurt, pain I experienced yesterday
Quietly, quietly I lay. ~ Patrice

When it happened
What did you say
How did you rationalize
All the people breaching
The Capital building
Yesterday?
Nothing, no one
Can make it seem right
in
Today
Tomorrow
or
Yesterday.

Beginning a new year
A new day
Leaving all that’s bad
In yesterday.
Bringing with me
Only love and joy
Created there
In my yesterday.~ Patrice

Let me be, let me see
All the magic unfolding
Here in front of me
Let no one say
I didn’t laugh or cry
In the face of yesterday
Maybe then
I’ll be happy
In spite of all I think
I’ll never be
Today.
~ Patrice.

So much to say
So little paper to write it
All out
What so many people are talking
Laughing, talking about.
Suffice to say
When I find that scrap of paper
Filed somewhere
Yesterday
I’ll laugh, I’ll cry.
Because even then
I know there’s been
So much to say
So little paper to write it
All out.
~ Patrice
