Never before did I
Feel the work of the Lord
Residing in everything.

Never before did I
Find a way to heal
The hurt felt when I was left
In a terrible bind.

Never before did I
See the magic a heart can do
To mend with love
Given unconditionally.

Never before did I
Be in the realm
Of a beautiful soul
Such as thee.
